Winter Water
Gloucester in Winter
Well, it's not Manchester, but it's
geographically close... These pictures were all taken by the talented
Jim Holley. They
were taken in Gloucester (pronounced "glah-ster")
and Rockport in December, 2002, as waves from a fairly normal winter
storm (Nor'easter) on the Atlantic were rolling in to the north
and east coast of Cape Ann.

Backshore Waves
These pictures
were taken on the backshore of the island of Gloucester
near the Gloucester/Rockport border. The backshore faces
north and east into the North Atlantic at the end of Cape
Ann.
